Thanks family

I became interested in this site after reading my sister-in-laws blog over the past 8 months. I thought it would be a great way to keep my family and friends on the "happenings" of mommyhood. Most of you know that I did not take the traditional path of parenting but opted instead for foster parenting. It has been challenging but rewarding up unto this point. Next week I will have 2 sisters come to my home. This placement could be long term, until December. (But we all know how the DSS system works.) The girls are 6 and 8 and have the prettiest blonde hair and blue eyes I have ever seen. I had the unique opportunity to meet them about a month ago. I fell in love with them as they climbed out of the state licensed DSS van. They enjoyed playing on the Mc D's playground and eating ice cream. It gave me a chance to meet the worker and ask lots of questions. So, stayed tuned in for the details as I count down the days until next Thursday!!!
